Formed by Steve Dior and left-handed guitarist Barry Jones after his time in Idles with former New York Dolls Jerry Nolan and Arthur Cain, the London Cowboys are back with a rare, high-quality stereo audience recording of a November 1, 1982, concert at Dingwall in Camden Town, London. The recording is of exceptional quality for the time, with excellent balance across all parts, including vocals, and a wide, deep, and clear sound. There’s a tape change that cuts off the first half of “Animal Pleasure,” but the rest of the recording is complete. Featuring the all-star lineup of Sex Pistols’ Glen Matlock on bass and former New York Dolls and Heartbreakers member Jerry Nolan on drums, the setlist features six tracks from their debut album, “Animal Pleasure,” released that same year. The album also features covers of the New York Dolls’ “Bad Girl” and “Looking For A Kiss”! This is a scorching hot album guaranteed to leave you in agony!
