Description
From the US tour after the release of “HASTEN DOWN THE WIND” in 1976, the performance at Landover on December 12th was recorded for 63 minutes in official quality, soundboard recording by a person involved. Since it was recorded for record purposes, the middle part of “Deep So Low” and the first half of “Someone To Lay Down Beside Me” are not included, so it is not complete, but if you are a fan, you should check it out because you can listen to the great live performance of this period in master quality. And of course, the album numbers, as well as covers of Warren Zevon, Little Feat, Ry Cooder and Neil Young, are performed in a traditional country style and a rock-like style centered around Waddy Wachtel’s guitar, with a variety of arrangements depending on the song, and a staging that symbolizes this period that fused country and rock. The album ends with covers of Karla Bonoff’s “Someone To Lay Down Beside Me” and “Desperado” and “Tumbling Dice,” making for a very upbeat album. 1. Lose Again 2. That’ll Be The Day 3.
