Description

On September 21, 1975, from the US tour that was held in conjunction with the release of “PRISONER IN DISGUISE”, Berkeley recorded a performance at the Greek Theater with a superb soundboard recording. Although there are some negative points such as the recording of That’ll Be The Day being less than a minute long and the sound fluctuation of the third song, Silver Threads And Golden Needles, due to slight tape deterioration, the live take of this period recorded with the highest level of line recording is definitely a must-listen for fans. You can enjoy Linda’s beautiful and emotional vocals with a direct sound in every song, including Desperado, which is sung with a powerful yet clear and beautiful vocal. One of the highlights is Lose Again, where Peter Asher (manager and producer at the time), familiar from Peter & Gordon, participates in the chorus. Although the recording time is short at 42 minutes and 30 seconds, it is a rare live performance from this period that can be heard with ultra-clear line recording.
