Description
This is the long-awaited release of Level 42’s Pro Shot Live. A coupling recording of the stage performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1983 and a documentary made the following year in 1984. In 2002, they reunited with special benefits and resumed their activities. The live performance in Rotterdam is recorded with professional shots. It took a while for them to make a big break, but by this time their high-quality sound had already been well-received both in their home country of England and in Japan, and they were undeniably popular. I think many fans think that this is the period when they are at their best. Their unique funk fusion, recognized by their master Stanley, is still very fresh even today. Please check it out at the live performance in the sacred place of Montreux. The second half is a document consisting of live performances, interviews, off-shots, etc. The image quality here seems to be slightly inferior, but I think it will be interesting for fans. As for the bonus, many big hits from 1985 onwards are also played! Mark King has also honed his transcendental techniques and is making his live shows even more exciting with his staging that is even better than when he was in his prime. Whether you’re a fusion fan, a pop fan, or a fashionable disco freak from yesteryear, we’re sure to have something for everyone. The recording time will be 140 minutes.
