Description
From the must-have label for Zep fans, the first of a series of titles that record precious live footage in chronological order with the latest mastering in 2024 is now available on DVD. First, the best quality source was selected from the footage that had leaked in the past, and the entire video was up-converted using the latest AI technology in 2024. Frame interpolation technology was used to smoothly restore the choppy footage that is particularly common in old footage, and AI was used to remove unnecessary parts such as time codes and logo marks on the screen so that they would not stand out. The audio was also balanced and noise-processed, resulting in unprecedented video quality. The first installment of this series begins with a video of 13-year-old Jimmy Page playing skiffle in 1957, followed by an interview from his Yardbirds days and a live fragment from January 1969 at the Fillmore East in New York. Since the formation of Zep, there have been few live performances, such as the “Texas Pop Festival” in August of the same year, which is also famous as a sound source, the “Bus Festival” in June of the following year, and the concert in LA in September of the same year, known as “Blueberry Hill”, and the performance in Honolulu. Although there are few complete live performances, this title, which covers the footage up to the 1971 US tour that consolidates live fragments, including the titles of future series releases, is a limited Cocker’s Edition that you will want to keep as a valuable video collection.
