Description
The “Winston Remastered Version 929”, which appeared at the end of last year, received rave reviews from enthusiasts around the world as the “ultimate 929”, which was created using skillful editing techniques from multiple best sources, including audience sources. This work, which appears in a place where memories are still fresh, is the famous Weedwacker version of 929. This is the version that appeared on the internet a few years ago, and does not use the OG analog source, but is a combination of existing tape sources from multiple good generations. The “Winston Remastered Version” was characterized by painstaking and delicate editing, such as inserting audience sources into missing parts, but this version uses the original tape as it is, with cuts and omissions occurring one after another at various places during and between songs. However, the sound of the fresh tape source pervades the whole story, making it an exceptional listening experience (by the way, 28:27 after the end of Dazed And Confused, 8:30 after the end of Going To California, and the end of What Is And What Should Never Be) The sound of the later 4:24 cut and connection to another tape is duplicated, but the texture of the sound before and after is different, so I purposely recorded it as is.) It is a content that can be fully enjoyed as a RAW VERSION / RAW EDITION of the soundboard tape, and it is wonderful that the high range comes out clearly while the entire volume is based on a natural sound texture. In a sense, this is a “RAW & BEST” piece that allows you to fully enjoy the “high-quality gene branched tape source” with its vivid textures and connections. An item containing the convenient and fun “Weed Wacker Version 929” that has never been commercialized in the past and probably never will be. A must-listen album that is a companion to “Winston Remastered” and consists of a group of “929” tape sources with rough but raw minimal processing. Please take this opportunity to experience it.
