Description

It will be performed in Boston on September 9, 1970. Since the band’s performance at the festival, which was originally scheduled for August, was cancelled, this day’s performance in Boston was set up as a replacement performance. According to records, the day seemed to have been an eventful one from the beginning, from the negotiation of compensation to the atmosphere at the venue. More heavily armed police and security guards than usual were stationed at the venue, and while the concert itself was wonderful, the atmosphere felt very tense and tense. The setlist is a golden set from 1970. The song sparks with “Immigrant Song” and immediately leads into “Heartbreaker,” and as early as the third song, “Enchanted” is played, overwhelming the audience with their breathless performance. Incorporating an acoustic set in the middle, Jimmy’s bluesy guitar explodes in “Keep Loving You,” and “Thank You” leads to a long organ solo. Bonzo’s highlights are “Moby Dick” and “With all the love in my heart,” which has all the members in a festive mood. The program concludes with an explosive “Communication Breakdown.” A typical golden set from this period. It’s a wonderful stage where you don’t have to worry about any troubles you may have in advance. The recording is also excellent, with stable high quality sound throughout the entire story. In addition, the pitch that was out of order on the previously released version has been accurately corrected, making the title suitable for the definitive version of this masterpiece. Truly the strongest live performance in history. It’s a masterpiece that makes it seem as if the world was under the spell of Zeppelin. Boston Garden, Boston, MA U.S.A. September 9 1970 DISC ONE 01.
