Description
In late March 1969, ZEP performed at a club called Mothers, in addition to the BBC, which is well known for “Dazed And Confused” and “Sunshine Woman” from the movie “SUPERSHOW”, and fragments of the performance remain. This is a relatively recently excavated recording, and the total recording time is 11 minutes, which is essentially the recording of two songs, which is disappointing, but it is extremely valuable as a recording that captures them at a time when they had not yet emerged in their native England. Surprisingly, the sound quality is very good and the sound image is very close. The sense of realism is so vivid that it feels like they are performing at a live house. If this had been a complete recording, it would have been an immortal recording, but unfortunately, it is a pity that the recording ends at the beginning of “Dazed And…”. Therefore, this recording is often used as a bonus for ’69 items, and recently the best version was included in Graf Zeppelin’s “NEWCASTLE 1969 PLUS”, but this time it is based on the second generation copy version released by the familiar Krw_co. Remastering notes Corrected the pitch about 40% lower by a semitone Increased the overall sound pressure. Although the recording time is short, the sound quality is surprisingly high! And it’s rare!
