Description
This is a digitized take of “LIVE AT THE LOS ANGELES FORUM 9-4-70” (Rubber Dubber Records/70-007-01A-04D), recorded at the LA Forum on September 4, 1970, from a master in good condition. Needless to say, this is a different master from the Blimp/TMOQ “Live On Blueberry Hill”, and not only is the original tape not in circulation yet, but in contrast to the Blimp/TMOQ version, which has been repeatedly re-released in various forms from the same stamper, this version has not been re-released (although there are multiple types of jackets). The master record in good condition was played using high-end equipment, so you can enjoy this classic album with a fresh, unprocessed sound that is just like the record. In quiet songs, there are some parts where the needle cracks are a concern, but you will notice that not only is the sound “listenable” enough, but that it is actually comparable to, or even better than, the TMOQ source, the recently famous Anthravata, and the Cobra source. This board is originally a rare board and is difficult to obtain, rarely distributed on the second-hand market, and in recent years, other long version sources, tapes, and masters have been distributed, so it is a source that tends to be overlooked in the shadows, but it is definitely a must-have for fans.
