Description
Valuable studio rehearsal sound source of L.A. Express from Robben Ford’s time is now available. This title is a digitally remastered recording of the rehearsals held at A&M Studios in LA in 1975 to record the first LP under the name L.A. Express, using a top-quality stereo soundboard master. The previous year, L.A. Express, led by Tom Scott, played a major role as George Harrison’s touring band, and was recorded in a studio under the circumstances that made it widely known among rock fans. Tom Scott, the leader, was absent. However, the wonderful session led by Robben Ford and Victor Feldman has a very attractive sound with a full 70’s fusion taste, similar to STUFF CRUSADERS etc. The complete sound quality is official, so you’ll be able to enjoy it over and over again.Even if you’re not a fan, you’ll be impressed by the young play of Robben Ford, who takes a completely different approach to playing the guitar than his predecessor Larry Carlton!
