Description

The first tour with Vinnie Vincent, “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”. Three new shocking soundboard sources have been unearthed! Collectors around the world will be shocked by the three titles that will be released simultaneously! This is the third of three simultaneous releases. It is a super powerful stereo soundboard recording of the “March 23, 1983 El Paso performance”. Of the three works that will be released simultaneously this time, this work is a little different. In order to explain its meaning, let’s first look back at the schedule at that time and check the position of each of the three titles. 1982 (“CREATURES OF THE NIGHT” released on October 13th) December 29th – 31st: North America #1a (3 shows) ← *SIOUX CITY/ROCKFORD 1982 1983 January 1st – February 4th: North America #1b (23 shows) February 1st – March 1st: North America #2 (12 shows) March 9th – April 3rd: North America #3 (15 shows) ← ★Here★ June 18th – 25th: South America (3 shows) (Production of “LICK IT UP” begins in July) This is the big picture of the “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”. Both of the sister works “SIOUX CITY 1982 SOUNDBOARD (Zodiac 529)” and “ROCKFORD 1982 SOUNDBOARD (Zodiac 530)” were records of the very early tour “North America # 1a”, but the El Paso performance of this work was the end of the tour. It was the 10th concert of “North America # 3”. Although the timing is slightly different, it is still the three sisters. This work is also shocking quality. There is no doubt that it was recorded directly from the soundboard desk, and the cheers are far away, and the mix balance is rough (Vinnie Vincent’s guitar, which suddenly becomes big in the solo, is powerful!). Instead, the performance spun by the four people is the extreme of rawness, and the guitar / bass strings and the drum skin have a sense of closeness that makes the vibrations pop into your eyes, and the vocals are at a breathy level. You can enjoy a sense of perfect synchronization with live performance that you can never experience with a beautifully arranged official live work or an FM broadcast that produces a concert re-experience. And this work is also the highest peak version of such an impact soundboard. As can be said for the other two works by the sisters, “SIOUX CITY 1982 SOUNDBOARD” and “ROCKFORD 1982 SOUNDBOARD”, it is not just the excavation master as it is, but is polished with meticulous mastering. The pitch that was out of whack is stabilized just right, and the volume / sound pressure that changed in some parts is also uniformly adjusted. The impact of the original sound is not compromised in the slightest, and the perfection as a musical work is increased as much as possible. While the vivid sound characteristics and the perfection of the finish are similar to the sister works, the show content is completely different. As mentioned above, it is approaching the second half of the tour, and the set is completely different. Speaking of the soundboard at the end of the “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”, the FM sound source of the Rio performance is famous, so let’s organize it by comparing. CREATURES OF THE NIGHT (4 songs) Creatures of the Night / I Love It Loud / War Machine / I Still Love You (★) 70’s Classics (10 songs) KISS: Cold Gin / Firehouse / Black Diamond / Strutter (★) Others: Rock And Roll All Nite / Detroit Rock City / God Of Thunder / Calling Dr. Love / I Want You / Love Gun *Note: The “★” mark indicates songs that cannot be heard on the standard soundboard of the 1983 Rio performance. … and so on. Although there are more songs than the Rio performance soundboard, the set has been changed to a tighter one compared to “SIOUX CITY 1982 SOUNDBOARD” and “ROCKFORD 1982 SOUNDBOARD”. The flow is better, and Vinnie has become accustomed to the show and is going wild. The ensemble and momentum are the best among the three sisters. Although it is a little disappointing that the rarest songs were dropped, the encore is a rare point that more than makes up for it. In fact, the audience on this day was so enthusiastic that they were throwing things at the stage. Gene was so angry that he charged into the audience, and after “Strutter”, Paul also gave an angry MC. In this work without a video, Gene’s big fight cannot be confirmed, but Paul’s MC can be experienced by ear. In terms of rare songs, it does not reach “SIOUX CITY 1982 SOUNDBOARD” and “ROCKFORD 1982 SOUNDBOARD”, but the impact of the passionate performance by the mature ensemble and the trouble scene where anger erupts is the only taste of this work. It is a super-class live album that screws all of that into your brain with a super-powerful sound board. Super-powerful stereo sound board recording of “El Paso performance on March 23, 1983”. It is a shocking new excavation master, and the close-contact sound recorded directly from the mix desk is powerful and unparalleled. Vinnie Vincent, who has been through a lot, is also going wild, and you can enjoy Paul’s MC, who is angry at the audience who throw things on the stage, with the sound right next to your ears.
