Description
The world’s first superb soundboard album is a shocking arrival. Our shop has released many superb soundboard sound sources in the past, but this time it is “LOVE GUN TOUR 1977”. This is the leaked soundboard of the tour’s final performance, “September 4th and 5th, 1977: Fort Worth Performance”. Speaking of our first-time public soundboard, the KISS Army is already familiar with it. Starting with the 90’s series “REVENGE IN DAYTON” and “REVENGE IS READY: TOUR REHEARSAL 1992”, as well as the 70’s “UNRELEASED SPRING 1973 REHEARSAL”, “AMITYVILLE 1973”, “STUDIO DEMOS 1975”, “ANAHEIM 1976”, etc., all of which are superb products. These were provided by a certain “former related person”, but this time we will take the same route again. It’s been a while, but they delivered another shock. There are two masters that were released for the first time. It is a two-disc set with the final day of the tour, “September 5, 1977”, on disc 1 and “September 4” on disc 2. Although it is reversed in chronological order, the main part of this work is disc 1 of the final day, “September 5”. That is because the recording time is very different. “September 5” on disc 1 is about 67 minutes long and contains most of the show (15 songs other than “God of Thunder” and “Shout it Out Loud”), but “September 4″ on disc 2 is about 24 minutes (4 songs from the drum solo to the end of the show). Initially, the idea of ”pressing only disc 1 and making disc 2 a bonus…” was also considered, but both masters are too valuable and too excellent. Both should be preserved permanently, so it became like this. In fact, the sound of this work is intense. If you have heard even one of the titles above, you will know what I mean, but it is nothing other than a direct connection to the soundboard. The guitar and bass jump into your ears as if they were plugged into your ears, and the singing voices of Paul and Gene are poured directly into your brain from the microphone. It’s not so much that you’re listening to it, but that KISS is in your head. It’s like your skull is a concert venue. The show depicted in this quality is the height of KISS’s golden age. Speaking of “LOVE GUN TOUR 1977”, “ALIVE II” is ingrained in your whole body, and this work can be said to be the real version of it. Let’s take a look at the final schedule of “LOVE GUN TOUR 1977”.・August 22 Phoenix・August 26 Inglewood “ALIVE II”・August 27 Inglewood “ALIVE II”・August 28 Inglewood “ALIVE II”・September 1 Houston・September 2 Houston “KISSOLOGY VOLUME ONE”・September 4 Fort Worth [This work disc 2]・September 5 Fort Worth [This work disc 1] (final day) These are the last 8 performances of the tour. The main live of the official masterpiece was “August 26-28 Inglewood”, but this work is just 3-4 performances after that. It is just after the Houston performance recorded in the official box “KISSOLOGY VOLUME ONE”. Although the period is very similar, this work is completely different from “ALIVE II”. KISS is a band that does not hesitate to make changes in the studio for the sake of perfection and entertainment due to their rare professionalism, but this work has no such processing because it is directly connected to the table. The “rawness” and “authenticity” are incomparable. Moreover, the sound that seems to reach the members’ touch depicts a fiery live performance that makes you want to say “There’s no need for it.” The band’s potential that produced that masterpiece is intact, and the final day’s sense of fulfillment and accomplishment is added to the performance. The tape ends once in the middle of “Calling Dr. Love” on Disc 1, and immediately after that, it starts in the middle of “Rock And Roll All Nite”, but this is also the original master itself. Because it is a valuable record, we have made the true form into a CD without fading it. The latest edition of the soundboard series that is making its world debut, the ultimate version of “LOVE GUN TOUR 1977”, and the real version of “ALIVE II”… no matter how you listen to it, it is the best and most transcendental one.
