Description
“Houston performance on August 13, 1976”. This is a standard video that we once released as “HOUSTON 1976”, but unfortunately, it is incomplete despite its superb quality. It was only about 31 minutes and 8 songs (plus guitar solo) in the first half of the show. However, a professional shot of the second half of the show was recently unearthed. This work contains an extended version that includes the newly excavated part. The opening “Detroit Rock City” to “Nothin’ To Lose” are conventional professional shots, but after that, the newly excavated “God of Thunder”, “Rock And Roll All Nite”, “Deuce”, “Firehouse”, and “Black Diamond” 5 songs (plus drum solo) are contained for about 33 minutes. The quality of this newly excavated part is amazing. It is true that it is the same shooting as the previous first half from the camera angle, but the image quality goes even further, and even if you look at it with the eyes of the modern digital heyday, it can only be said to be “official class”. That’s because, apparently, this new master was leaked from the production side. As proof, the time code is also reflected at the bottom of the screen. I don’t know at what stage it was leaked, but the sound still has some unprocessed rawness, while the slightly dated image processing is complete. With the appearance of the treasured and treasured professional shot, it became possible to enjoy the “almost” full show version. …And here, the reason why we had to add “almost” here is that there are some cuts. The first half master ends in the middle of “Nothin’ To Lose”, and the second half master starts in the middle of “God of Thunder”. Both songs are missing, and “Do You Love Me?”, which was played in between, is missing. Although there are some chips, the definitive professional shot that has been expanded to almost a full show is the best! Unlike the completed camera work, there are some slightly unusual angles on the left and right of the stage, and even the facial expressions of the makeup face are perfect with multi-camera. And the youthfulness of KISS, who is crisp and aggressive! Though they still wear makeup and perform many of their biggest hits, the vocals and movements from the 70s are still as sharp as ever. What’s more, they’re overflowing with the fiery energy of their heyday. Whatever they do works amazingly well, and wherever they go they’re greeted by huge crowds. It’s a professionally completed show that perfectly lives up to the expectations of the crowd… It’s packed with the greatest, most brilliant rock and roll of all time.
