Description

A must-have for all KISS armies is being released! This work, which is a set of the 1994 Memphis, Tennessee performance and the 1995 Nagoya performance during the “KISS MY ASS” tour, has been highly praised by enthusiasts since it first appeared under the title “FROM NASHVILLE TO NAGOYA”. This time, the big title, which is about 3 hours in total, is here as a remastered version. Both are audience shots of the highest quality, and you can enjoy the live performance at the end of the no-makeup era. I assure you that fans who have not seen it are definitely not to be missed! Disc 1 contains the live performance at “Riverfront Park” in Nashville, Tennessee, which was held on July 30, 1994 as the “Gibson 100th Anniversary Live”. The shot capturing the stage directly from the first floor seats is impressive! Paul, Gene and other players are also shown in close-up shots, and their expressions are clearly visible (in some scenes, it may be mistaken for a professional shot or a shot by a related person). The venue is very lively from the opening, and you can enjoy the fun that only an excellent audience shot can provide. The scene where Paul, Gene and Bruce play together in the second half of “Deuce” is a sudden highlight. Furthermore, the development of “I Stole Your Love” and “Parasite” is overwhelming. Gene and Paul’s professionalism, who play passionately but never forget to please the audience, is simply amazing. Gene’s gesture of pointing at the audience seats and his gaze as he peers into them make us feel excited even as we watch the video. Paul also performs skillful MCs and flashy actions everywhere. This is the best part of a KISS live show. Because it is a special live show, the performance time is a little short at just under 80 minutes. However, the set, which was a little different from the regular live performances at the time, condenses the charm of KISS. Of course, the standard songs such as “Love Gun”, “Detroit Rock City”, and “Black Diamond” are well covered. The live performance, which runs through to the last song “Heaven’s On Fire”, is very satisfying. Disc 2 records the performance at Century Hall in Nagoya on January 28th from the Japan tour that was realized in 1995. This is an audience shot from the second floor, but it captures the state of the stage well and even the expressions of the members with clear contours, making it a remarkable quality for an audience video from that period. Although the angle is unstable in some songs, the stable camera work and angles during the performance, as well as the excellent sound quality, will make fans very happy both to see and to listen to. This video was recorded from the surroundings of the venue before the live show started. The appearance of fans wearing the band’s makeup is a heartwarming story of the charm of KISS, which is loved by fans. The set was partially changed for the Japan tour, starting with “King Of The Night Time World”. In addition to classics such as “Deuce”, “Paraiste”, and “Firehouse”, “REVENGE” numbers such as “Unholy” and “Domino” were also woven in. In addition, “Creatures Of The Night”, which was the opening song of the same tour, was featured in the middle of the show, which was refreshing. The fans at the venue were excited by the KISS-like performance, which was a good balance of flashiness and control. The excitement of “Shout It Out Loud” and “I Was Made For Loving You”, which everyone wants to hear, was amazing. In the second half of the live, in addition to the masterpieces of the no-makeup era such as “Lick It Up”, “Forever”, and “Heaven’s On Fire”, classics such as “Black Diamond” and “Detroit Rock City” were played in succession. At the end of “Rock And Roll All Nite”, you can enjoy Paul’s guitar crash with a powerful and vivid shot. It’s a shame that there is a cut at the beginning of “Rock and Roll All Nite,” but the professional performance and excellent video never tire of watching! The quality is top-notch, irresistible for fans who have never seen either Nashville or Nagoya. The total of 186 minutes of content is an incredible amount for a gift release. In addition to the fully remastered sound, this work also comes with a delightful original menu, making it an exceptional two-disc set that can be said to be exceptional in every respect.
