Description
Our unique leaked soundboard series that shocked enthusiasts around the world. Among them, an upgraded version of the super superb live album that was touted as the pinnacle of No Makeup KISS in the 80’s is now available. What is engraved in this work is “Stockholm performance on September 17, 1988”. Yes, this is the masterpiece “BURY YOU ALIVE”, which was touted as the masterpiece of “CRAZY NIGHTS TOUR” at the peak of No Makeup KISS in the 1980s. However, this work is not a straight reissue. The leaked master that shocked the world has been re-digitized. It is an upgraded version refined with the latest mastering. All of a sudden, I started talking about “best masterpiece” and “masterpiece,” but if you don’t know “BURY YOU ALIVE,” it probably won’t make sense to you, so I’ll explain it step by step. First, let’s start with the show position. ●1987《“CRAZY NIGHTS” released on September 21st》・November 13th – December 31st: North America #1 (31 performances) ●1988・January 1st – April 2nd: North America #2 ( 66 performances) ・April 16th-24th: Japan (5 performances) ・July 4th: Swansea performance ・August 12th + 13th: New York (2 performances) ・August 16th-October 4th: Europe (23 performances) ←★Here★ This is the whole picture of “CRAZY NIGHTS TOUR”. The only Japanese performance in the 1980s is also memorable, but this work is 5 months after that. This was the 12th concert of the “European” leg, the final stage of the world tour. And, “BURY YOU ALIVE” is the finest stereo soundboard recorded directly from the mix table of such a show. It was an original master brought to us by a person involved, and in addition to its value, the content was also transcendent. There are some sound boards left from “CRAZY NIGHTS TOUR” including MONSTERS OF ROCK, but most of them are incomplete versions. All four performances of the official “KISSOLOGY” were also excerpts. On the other hand, this sound board recording was a full recording of all at once. Of course, the sound is also top notch. The taste is different from the style of official works that are arranged only for direct connection to the table…Well, by modern standards where officials are active in excavation, it can be said to be “completely official grade”. The performance and singing voice roars at zero distance and brain-penetrating level, and everything is vivid and clear. Although there are no overdubs to create a concert atmosphere, the cheers that can be heard faintly from far away are thick and it feels like a tremendous spectacle. What’s more, this work is a record-breaking album that brings up the highest peak of such leaked masters. Of course, it was outstanding from the beginning, but when we looked into the corners of the box, we found room for improvement. For example, stereo balance. The Omoto master was slightly shifted to the left, but in this work it is centered, and the volume changes unnaturally in some parts (probably because the on-site staff tweaked the knobs). I arranged it. Of course, the overall sound itself has been brushed up, and each range has been organized while paying close attention not to impair the luster of the original sound. The bottom is also thicker, creating a powerful yet natural sound. The show drawn with such a top-notch updated sound is the greatest hits that do not end only in the 70’s. Let’s organize the sets here. ●70s (10 songs)・KISS: Cold Gin/Black Diamond/Firehouse/Deuce/Strutter・DRESSED TO KILL: Rock And Roll All Nite・DESTROYER: Shout It Out Loud/Detroit Rock City・LOVE GUN: Love Gun・DYNASTY : I Was Made For Lovin’ You ●80’s (9 songs)・CREATURES OF THE NIGHT: I Love It Loud・LICK IT UP: Fits Like A Glove/Lick It Up・ANIMALIZE: Heaven’s On Fire・ASYLUM: Tears Are Falling・CRAZY NIGHTS: Bang Bang You/No, No, No/Crazy Crazy Nights/Reason To Live…and so on. There are plenty of delicious songs, including “Fits Like A Glove,” which they haven’t played since the reunion, and “Bang Bang You,” “No, No, No,” and “Reason To Live,” which are exclusive to this tour. Even if it’s a 70’s number, “Strutter”, “Rock And Roll All Nite”, and “Shout It Out Loud” can’t be heard even if you combine the four performances recorded in “KISSOLOGY” (you could see it with takes from other tours) ). Of course, even more than such a set is the performance itself. Bruce Kulick’s flashy guitar goes wild, and the late Eric Carr’s drumming is also very exciting. The sense of fulfillment that comes from entering the golden age once again overflows, and the high tension of witnessing the great enthusiasm has been transformed into momentum. You can truly enjoy the pinnacle of the no-makeup era with the super-excellent sound board. In the 70s, there were “ALIVE!” and “ALIVE II,” and in the 90s, “ALIVE III” remained. However, the true heyday of No Makeup KISS was during Eric Carr’s lifetime. This work is a live album called “ALIVE 2.5” that should have been left by the official. It’s not just an ultra-superior stereo soundboard, but one that complements the “top of no makeup” that the official failed to leave behind. Its highest peak update edition.
