Description

In tribute to Ace Frehley, the original KISS guitarist, who passed away in October 2025, here is Part 1 of the sixth installment of the ultimate compilation video, featuring 3 hours and 20 minutes of rare footage from the time of the 1980 album “UNMASKED,” all in the best possible master quality. This compilation was compiled by an overseas KISS researcher who selected and edited a vast amount of video material using the latest equipment. Since a considerable amount of footage remains from the “UNMASKED” period, which will become “VOLUME SIX,” it has been divided into Parts 1 and 2, bringing together various rare videos such as TV appearances and tour live performances in chronological order. Part 1 begins with a TV program just before Peter Criss’s departure, followed by TV footage related to the release of “UNMASKED,” and then includes valuable warm-up gigs and tour documentaries from the tour with Eric Carr, as well as a German TV program about the second film that never came to fruition—all in the best quality existing footage. In summary, this collection of footage marking the beginning of the 80s is unparalleled, as it brings together short clips that would be difficult to release individually. It’s a permanent preservation compilation item that condenses a diverse range of records unlike typical video works. Disc 1 : 1.
