Description
The full soundboard that has shocked the world as “Complete Edition ALIVE!” is now available! The highest quality is available in 2 CDs! This work is engraved with the “Detroit performance on May 16, 1975.” It is a stereo soundboard recording. “ALIVE!” was produced based on four days of the “DRESSED TO KILL Tour,” and this work is a complete soundboard of one of those performances. To understand the soundboard situation of the “DRESSED TO KILL Tour,” let’s first look at the activity schedule at that time. “HOTTER THAN HELL Tour” January 7th – February 22nd (14 shows) ← *SAN FRANCISCO JANUARY 1975 “DRESSED TO KILL Tour” March 19th – May 11th (28 shows) *May 16th: Detroit (ALIVE! recording date) ← ★This work★ May 17th – June 7th (12 shows) *June 13th “TULSA 1975 SOUNDBOARD” June 14th – 20th (4 shows) *June 21st: Cleveland (ALIVE! recording date) June 22nd – July 5th (6 shows) *July 20th: Davenport (ALIVE! recording date) *July 23rd: Wildwood (ALIVE! recording date) August 2nd – 28th (10 shows) “ALIVE! Tour” September 10th – December 31st (50 performances) ← ※ LANDOVER 1975 The original ALIVE! Complete version without overdubs This is KISS in 1975. The Detroit performance of this work was the first live performance in the four days when “ALIVE!” was recorded. This show has long been known for its six final songs, but the complete live album is included in the 50th anniversary super deluxe edition of “DRESSED TO KILL”, which was announced just the other day. It has caused a stir for KISS fans all over the world. This work was leaked from that process. According to the import source’s materials, it seems to be a pre-release master, but its quality is already perfect. While our investigation did not reveal any obvious differences from the official version, there is no doubt that it is a flawless complete version. Mix, balance, freshness, stability … There is not a single gap in anything, and it is a perfectly finished sound. And yet, unlike “ALIVE!”, there’s no sense of overdubbing, and the live performance far surpasses traditional works. It’s truly the “Complete ALIVE!”, the “True ALIVE!” without any production. A unique, ultra-rare performance in the entire history of KISS. It’s actually a surprising full show, depicted with such flawless, official-grade sound. The biggest reason for this is the set list, which is quite different from the regular performances of the “DRESSED TO KILL Tour.” Let’s organize it here by comparing it with the classic album “TULSA 1975 SOUNDBOARD.” DRESSED TO KILL (5 songs), Rock Bottom (★), Two Timer (★★), She, C’mon And Love Me, Rock And Roll All Nite, Others (8 songs + 3 songs), KISS: Strutter, Nothin’ To Lose (★), Let Me Know (★★), Cold Gin, 100,000 Years, Firehouse, Deuce, Black Diamond, HOTTER THAN HELL: Got to Choose, Parasite (★), Let Me Go, Rock And Roll (★) *Note: Songs marked with a “★” are not on the classic album “TULSA 1975 SOUNDBOARD.” In particular, songs marked with a “★★” are not on “ALIVE!”… And so it goes. Perhaps wanting to expand their options for the live album, the repertoire also included a variety of songs that deviated from their regular set. The opening track, “Rock Bottom” (probably the only one in KISS’s entire history), made a strong impact. They even performed “Two Timer” and “Let Me Know” (which ultimately weren’t even heard on “ALIVE!”). These two tracks were rare and had been sealed for 20 years since the “DRESSED TO KILL Tour,” and “Two Timer” in particular was only performed live on this day in the 1970s. This is both the “Complete ALIVE!” and a fully official live album, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience of an ultra-rare performance. While the “DRESSED TO KILL” 50th Anniversary Box Set is priced at several tens of thousands of yen even on the official website, this release offers the best part. Truly a once-in-50-years, absolute must-have. This is a stereo soundboard recording of the “May 16, 1975 Detroit concert,” the source of “ALIVE!”. The mix, balance, freshness, and stability are all perfect, yet without the overdubbed feel of “ALIVE!”. It is truly the “Complete Edition ALIVE!”, the unproduced “True ALIVE!”, and the once-in-50-years super-absolute edition that can be enjoyed from the opening of “Rock Bottom” to the extremely rare songs “Two Timer” and “Let Me Know”.
