Description
The newly excavated soundboard incident of the “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour” that has shocked collectors all over the world. Two more superb soundboard albums will be released at the same time! This is the second of two simultaneous releases. It is a two-disc set that couples the super-powerful soundboard recordings of “February 11, 1983 Pine Bluff Performance” and “March 10 Houston Performance”. A total of five soundboard albums have been excavated, including the three consecutive ones last week, but while all four of the previous works were “one performance = two-disc” specifications, this work is a set of two short “one performance = one piece”. So, what position does the two performances of this work fall into? Let’s take a bird’s-eye view of the schedule at that time along with the three works. 1982 December 29: Bismarck performance (Vinnie’s premiere) * December 30 “SIOUX CITY 1982 SOUNDBOARD” * December 31 “ROCKFORD 1982 SOUNDBOARD” 1983 January 1-13 (8 performances in North America) * January 14 “TORONTO 1983 SOUNDBOARD” January 15-February 4 (14 performances in North America) * February 11: Pine Bluff performance ← ★ DISC 1 of this work ★ February 14-March 9 (12 performances in North America) * March 10: Houston performance ← ★ DISC 2 of this work ★ March 12-21 (6 performances in North America) * March 23 “EL PASO 1983 SOUNDBOARD March 26-April 3 (5 shows in North America) June 18-25: South America (3 shows in South America) *Note: The “*” marks the live shows where the soundboard was newly excavated this time. This is the soundboard recording of the 6 types and 5 titles excavated this time. The two shows in this work were in a position that connected between “TORONTO 1983 SOUNDBOARD” and “EL PASO 1983 SOUNDBOARD”. This work, excavated from these two shows, is an ultra-powerful soundboard like the other 4 works. The raw performance, which is directly connected to the mix table, is poured into the brain with the core exposed. However, despite its powerful sound, unfortunately, the recording aspect is incomplete. Not only are the entire show, but some songs start with cut-ins (of course, in this work, the discomfort of such cuts is also adjusted with fades, and the parts where the stereo feeling on the left and right is broken are also corrected. It is finished so that it can be enjoyed as naturally as possible as a music work). Therefore, this work may seem like a bonus among the five newly excavated titles, but in fact, it is far more valuable than the others. In order to explain the meaning, let’s check the contents here. CREATURES OF THE NIGHT (3 songs, 4 takes) Creatures of the Night (*) / I Love It Loud (*) / I Still Love You 70’s Classics (11 songs, 17 takes) KISS: Cold Gin (*) / Firehouse (*) / Black Diamond / Strutter DESTROYER: Detroit Rock City (*) / God Of Thunder / King Of the Night Time World (★) Others: Rock And Roll All Nite / Calling Dr. Love (*) / I Want You (*) / Love Gun *Note: The “★” mark indicates a song only recorded at Pine Bluff (Disc 1). The “*” mark indicates a song only recorded at Houston (Disc 2). …And so on. While the Houston recording (Disc 2) gives a full view of the show in a staggered manner, the Pine Bluff recording (Disc 1) focuses on the second half of the show. The highlight is the Pine Bluff recording (Disc 1), which, although short, features “King of the Night Time World”! It may seem like a semi-standard song in the history of KISS, but in fact, this song was only performed once on the “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”…or rather, only once during the Vinnie Vincent era. Of course, the extremely rare live performance that cannot be heard on the other five works will be poured into your brain with a direct sound. The soundboard of the “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”, which suddenly exploded in 2022, was excavated. Unlike the other four works, which are almost fully recorded, this work may be a bit of a maniac. However, that is why it is a two-disc set that is absolutely inevitable for maniacs. A one-of-a-kind super-powerful soundboard album that lets you experience the one-of-a-kind “King Of the Night Time World” played by Vinnie. A two-disc set that couples the super-powerful soundboard recordings of “February 11, 1983 Pine Bluff Performance” and “March 10, Houston Performance”. This is the final soundboard of the series of CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour soundboards. Compared to the other four works, this is a two-performance set with a shorter soundboard, but the quality is not inferior at all and the sound is directly connected to the mix table. This is a one-of-a-kind super-powerful soundboard album that lets you experience the one-of-a-kind “King Of the Night Time World” played by Vinnie.
