Description

In 2012, KISS released their final album, “MONSTER,” and embarked on their final album tour. This powerful soundboard album features some extremely rare tracks exclusive to that time. This work permanently preserves the “November 7, 2012 Buenos Aires performance.” This is a stereo soundboard recording. Speaking of the “MONSTER Tour,” many people will think of the classic Japanese pro shot “MONSTER AT BUDOKAN,” but this work is quite different from that masterpiece. To get an idea of the situation, let’s first take a bird’s-eye view of the album tour at that time. 2012 {January 6th “MONSTER” completed} * July 20th – October 1st: North America #1 (44 performances) {October 9th “MONSTER” released} ・November 7th – 18th: South America (6 performances) ←★here★ 2013 * February 28th – March 16th: Australia (8 performances) ・ June 1st – 22nd: Europe (12 performances) ←※ MONSTER IN ZURICH 2013 ・ July 5th – August 18th: North America #2 (26 performances) ・ October 19th – 24th: Japan (4 performances) ←※ MONSTER AT BUDOKAN ・ November 8th: Calgary performance *Note: “*” indicates a coupling performance with MOTLEY CRUE, “・” indicates a solo performance. Real soundboard made into CD from the best master This is KISS in 2012/2013. While the Japan tour that produced “MONSTER AT BUDOKAN” was the final leg of the world tour, the Buenos Aires performance marked the first day of the “South American” leg. While the large-scale “North American #1” had already been held, the “South American” leg was the first one immediately after the album’s release. To meet global expectations, FM broadcasting was also realized. This work has been released on CD from the best master. This work is a truly realistic and vivid FM soundboard. While radio broadcasts often have an official feel that has been polished later, this work has a more live-like recording feel. The roars of excitement erupt between songs, unlike direct connection to the desk, completely expose the essential performance sound. Each note stands out brilliantly with a dynamic separation, blasting out of the speakers with plenty of heat without any processing. A vital live album packed with rare tracks. Even more important than the scorching sound is the setlist, packed with rare tracks. As the first set right after the album’s release, it’s packed with new songs. They also tackle rare tracks that would otherwise be dropped from the set. Here, let’s compare it with their iconic “MONSTER AT BUDOKAN” album, released about a year later. Reorganized (1 song + 5 songs) PSYCHO CIRCUS: Psycho Circus MONSTER: Hell Or Hallelujah / Wall Of Sound (★*) / All For the Love of Rock & Roll (★*) / Outta This World (★) / Long Way Down (★*) Classics (9 songs + 3 songs) 70s: Detroit Rock City / Shout It Out Loud / Hotter Than Hell (*) / God of Thunder / Calling Dr. Love / Love Gun / Black Diamond / I Was Made for Lovin’ You / Rock And Roll All Nite 80s: I Love It Loud / War Machine / Lick It Up *Note: “★” indicates songs exclusive to this tour. “*” indicates songs not included in the Japanese performance pro shot “MONSTER AT BUDOKAN.” …And so it goes. The sense of balance of five songs from “MONSTER” is rare, but the value of the content is even more intense. All songs except “Hell Or Hallelujah” are tour-exclusive, and most of them are not even available on “MONSTER AT BUDOKAN.” Two tracks in particular, “All For the Love of Rock & Roll” and “Long Way Down,” are ultra-rare, having only been performed five times each in the entire history of KISS. Listening to them on a stereo soundboard makes this album a must-have in KISS history. While the full set alone is enough to fill you up, this album also includes a bonus track: “Right Here, Right Now.” This is a studio outtake that was a bonus track exclusive to the iTunes or tour editions of “MONSTER.” This is the best master of the first-day soundboard, featuring a variety of “MONSTER” tracks that were quickly dropped from the set. This is an absolute live album that should be placed next to “MONSTER.” This is a 2-CD set that is indispensable in KISS history. It’s a stereo soundboard recording from the November 7, 2012 Buenos Aires performance. This CD was released on the first day of the album’s release, immediately following its release. Each and every note stands out with a dynamic sense of separation, blasting forth unprocessed and full of energy from the speakers. This is a must-have release, packed with rare “MONSTER” tracks, including “All For the Love of Rock & Roll” and “Long Way Down,” both of which have only been performed five times in the entire history of KISS.
