Description
This is a total of 51 minutes of professional shot live footage from the release of their second album “Misfits” after moving to Arista in 1978, with the highest image and sound quality ever recorded. The first is a live recording in the studio recorded on Granada TV at the time of the album’s release, which was on the station’s music program “A Little Night Music.” The album’s “Live Life” and “Hay Fever” are carefully and carefully performed, and “Waterloo Sunset” and “Lola” are impressively performed with simple arrangements by Ray Davies and the keyboard player. The second half is a short documentary produced by German TV capturing the European tour of the same year, with the highlights being the scenes at the beginning and end of the recording where the Kinks have a quick jam session at the hotel where they were staying. Although these are familiar images to fans from the VHS era, the quality is completely different, so this is a must-see for fans who have never seen it before. at Hotelroom Sessions/Vienna Live 1978 1.
