Six years after Slayer’s farewell tour, Kelly returns to Japan with a new band for his solo tour in 2025. This full-length recording from the October 16th concert at Osaka’s Shinsaibashi BIGCAT is a one-and-a-half-hour long matrix sound, combining the line-level audio from Kelly’s in-ear monitors (IEMs) with the digital audience master. The recording eliminates the mix imbalances often associated with IEM interception, and the high-quality audience source is matrixed to recreate the live performance with flawless, realistic sound, rivaling that of a stereo soundboard. Prior to this Osaka performance, Kelly also performed at “LOUD PARK ’25” at Saitama Super Arena. While that performance featured a short festival set of around an hour, this solo performance features a full set, making it a significant highlight. The album features all 12 tracks from “FROM HELL I RISE,” released the previous year, as well as six tracks from their Slayer days, plus covers of Maiden and Sabbath, embodying the pinnacle of thrash metal in a full live performance at its finest quality. Plus, a bonus rehearsal track from the day is added, making for a total of 1 hour and 35 minutes, making this a truly Japan-exclusive memorial item.
