The third installment of the “BOYS NEXT DOOR” label, which provides valuable and high quality videos, is a compilation of promotional videos and live footage from KATE BUSH’s best existing master tapes! This time it was released on DVD-R, and it is a masterpiece with a recording time of over 200 minutes. Centered around the PV collection released on LD over 10 years ago, unrecorded songs and alternate take versions of the same songs are recorded in chronological order. Although the image quality varies somewhat depending on the song, all of them boast the highest possible image quality, so we can recommend them with confidence. There are many songs that were not made into software and ended up only being broadcast on air, such as another version of “Wuthering Heights” that we have been used to for many years, and “Don’t Give Up”, a duet with Peter Gabriel, that was released in the UK and US. There are many highlights such as the completely different construction depending on the version. In particular, the UK version has an impressive image of the two singing while hugging each other endlessly, which I think will be nostalgic for those of the real-time generation. The second half includes footage of the classic 1979 Hammersmith performance, and then other performances from the same tour (it seems to have been shot mainly around the Hamburg performance)! This is a rare video that has been buried in the shadow of standard items. Furthermore, this video is a complete version that includes rare footage that was not included in the local German on-air version. This is a valuable video that reveals some of the mysteries about her (even the recording scene!), so don’t miss it. And finally, there is a video of David Gilmour unexpectedly jumping into a live performance in 2002, which shocked the fans and the audience who were there. Naturally, it was a huge surprise, so the camera crew wasn’t present, but this is a rare footage from an audience shot that was accidentally (!?) recorded.
