The live performance at Nagoya City Public Hall on January 15th, the fourth of five performances from the 1980 “MONOLITH JAPAN TOUR”, was released on CD directly from the original audience master. This night was reproduced for 91 minutes with amazing quality, with no echoes from the venue at the time, and it seemed to be directly connected to the PA. And among the American progressive hard rock bands of the time, it unfolded a particularly dramatic development, and the set was a greatest hits set that was also connected to the famous official live performance “TWO FOR THE SHOW”. In addition, they performed “Down The Road,” “Child Of Innocence,” “Sparks Of The Tempest,” and even new songs from “MONOLITH” at the time, including the Top 40 hit “People of the South Wind,” the heavy “On The Other Side,” and the extremely rare “How My Soul Cries Out For You.” This was a stage that summarized their prog era, and as it was the last performance in Japan by the original members, it will be a tear-jerking memorial item for fans of the past.
