Junior Walker and the Allstars/CA,USA 1982

Led by Junior Walker, saxophone player and singer, this band boasted a unique yet extremely popular Motown band with many hit songs including Shotgun. What makes them different is their street sensibilities, and although the songs are the usual Motown songs backed up by the Funk Brothers, they develop a unique, muddy band sound that looks great live. Their charm can be enjoyed only at such a live performance, but this live performance was made directly into CD from the master cassette tape provided by the soundboard and related parties. It’s not complete and some songs are cut off, but this is the master so it can’t be helped. Although it was a live performance from 1982, when albums were no longer being released, and Shotgun was not included (some song titles are unknown), it is a must-have title for anyone who likes Junior Walker.
