Description
Introducing a super-excellent live album that completes the soundboard collection of the “golden 80’s”. Currently, the original official is reprinting each album with a bonus titled “30th Anniversary”, but unfortunately it is full of gaps. To fill the “holes” and complete the “golden 80’s”, the power of bootlegs is essential. This work is one of the essentials. It is the apex soundboard album of “WORLD WIDE BLITZ TOUR 1981”. The biggest point of this work is the ultimate sound quality, but before that. First of all, let’s imagine how important this work is among the super representative soundboards. ●British Steel Tour 1980 → “DEFINITIVE DENVER 1980” ●World Wide Blitz Tour 1981 → [This work] ●World Vengeance Tour 1982-1983 → Official DVD “LIVE VENGEANCE’82” ●Metal Conqueror Tour 1984 → “DEFINITIVE JAWBREAKER” & Official “Immoral Law” 30th Anniversary Edition ●Fuel For Life Tour 1986 → “TWIN TURBO” ●Mercenaries Of Metal Tour 1988 “EXPANDED NEW HAVEN 1988” This is the entire tour of the “golden 80’s”. It is the apex live work from the “BRITISH STEEL” era to the “RAM IT DOWN” era. There are official-class soundboards that correspond to every album, but only a few are actually officially released. This week, “DEFINITIVE DENVER 1980” and “EXPANDED NEW HAVEN 1988” will also be released at the same time, and it’s a chance to complete the apex sound board of the 1980s at once. [Disc 1: July 22, 1981 New York performance] This work contains two performances. First of all, disc 1 is a super-exquisite sound board at the traditional venue “Palladium” in New York. This show has been known as a classic for a long time, but this work is its ultimate version. It is a gem that was made into a CD directly from an unused broadcast master. The actual broadcast also included “Genocide”, “Exciter”, and “The Ripper”, but those parts were reused from “UNLEASHED IN THE EAST”. This work was composed only of the “1981 New York performance”. Of course, the sound is “top”. It boasts a freshness that is completely different from the existing groups so far, and is a perfect official grade. Of course, the official standards range from bad sounds to famous sounds, but this work is definitely the “famous sound”. The show depicted with that sound is also incredibly wonderful. Four new songs are being played from the new work “POINT OF ENTRY” at that time, but “Solar Angels” and “Hot Rockin'” are especially delicious. Both songs were played during the reunion in 2005, but this tour was the only one in the “golden 80s”. The original key and performance unique to that time are overwhelming. Another point is the “BRITISH STEEL” number. “You Don’t Have To Be Old To Be Wise”, which was not played after that, is also delicious, but in fact “Breaking The Law” can’t be missed. Although it is now a standard, it was hardly played on “BRITISH STEEL TOUR 1980”, and this tour was the first full-scale appearance. An early performance that runs up the stairs to the standard and major representative songs. You can enjoy it on an official sound board. [Disc 2: London performance on November 21, 1981] If the “Palladium” is a famous venue in New York, the famous venue in London is the “Hammersmith Odeon”. Instead, Disk 2 is an FM broadcast soundboard containing a triumphant concert in the home country. This show is also famous for its BBC broadcast, and already known for its “HELL BENT FOR BBC” and “BRITISH ENTRY”, but this work is a separate broadcast. It is a long version that also includes “Metal Gods” and “You Don’t Have To Be Old To Be Wise”, which were not on the BBC. And not only the length but also the quality is supreme. Directly digitized from the cassette master itself, which has been stamped with the stamp of approval by enthusiasts around the world as “This is the best!” It is a super-excellent soundboard that is comparable to Disk 1. The sound quality is “official masterpiece class” and close to Disk 1, but the content of the show has changed. I don’t know why, but the new songs from “POINT OF ENTRY” have been completely excluded. Because of this, even now, there is a debate as to whether it was really the BRITISH STEEL TOUR, but the intro before “Metal Gods” also uses “Solar Angels”, so it seems that it was definitely the “WORLD WIDE BLITZ TOUR 1981”. And that “Metal Gods” is also a point. Like “Breaking The Law”, this song was hardly played on “BRITISH STEEL TOUR 1980”, and this tour was its first appearance. In fact, it was a tour with a stronger “BRITISH STEEL” color than “POINT OF ENTRY”. JUDAS PRIEST declared themselves “steel gods” with “BRITISH STEEL”. However, even after inventing metal, they had not yet made a breakthrough. They called themselves “gods” and spread the word in an era when people still wondered “What is metal in music?” This is an official live album packed with passion to bite into and tear through the world. The reason why the masterpiece “Cry of Revenge” was a great success was because the world tour “WORLD WIDE BLITZ TOUR” that took place before it was amazing. This work is the “proof of sound”. Originally, the official super masterpiece sound board that had to be made into a work by doing anything, even the anniversary project of “POINT OF ENTRY”, is the highest peak edition.
