The Rock Hall of Fame ceremony, which is rumored to be performed with K.K. Downing, will take place during “North America #2”, but that is three months later. Currently in the “Europe” leg, this work’s Vienne performance was the 27th concert in the latter half of that period. This work recorded at such a show is a tight recording with “super”. It must be an audience recording released by the recorder, but even if you listen carefully with a Hodphone, there is no hall ringing at all, and it is super sharp down to the fine details without any cloudiness or blurring. The core with a sharp edge reaches straight to your ears without any sense of distance. The vividness and strength of the sound can be heard almost only on the IEMs intercepting soundboard (although it seems that this is not actually the case). The reason for the vivid sound is probably the venue. The venue was set up in an ancient Greek ruin, and the structure that opens up like a fan toward the audience has no roof or walls to reflect the sound. It directly picks up the zero-reverberation sound emitted toward the void. Of course, it is not as simple as saying “outdoor = best”, and if the position is far from the PA, it will be sparse, and if the wind is strong, the sound will shake and the wind sound will ruin everything. However, this work has no such negative factors. Only the taste of the outdoors can be deliciously enjoyed. It is a long-awaited superb recording that has finally reached the level of “soundboard class”. The latest full show of the “50 HEAVY METAL YEARS Tour” is depicted with such a masterpiece sound.
