Description
Alice Cooper and JUDAS PRIEST, two of the greatest heroes who once led the “OPERATION ROCK & ROLL Tour,” are here. Experience their 34-year-old coupling tour with these stunning new shots. This film was shot at the “September 24, 2025 Virginia Beach Performance.” This is a front-row audience shot that gives you full access to both heroes’ stage. This coupling tour will take place 24 times, from September 16 to October 26, 2025. The Virginia Beach performance featured in this film was the fifth concert. Let’s take a look at each of the two heroes individually. DISC 1: JUDAS PRIEST on the 35th Anniversary of “PAINKILLER” First up is our steel gods, JUDAS PRIEST. This coupling tour was also part of the “SHIELD OF PAIN Tour,” celebrating the 35th anniversary of the eponymous album “PAINKILLER.” The performance order for the day was “PRIEST → Alice,” starting at 7:40 PM. This vacuum-packed version of the show delivers stunning footage that will blow your mind right from the start! What’s most striking is the incredible proximity of the front row! Even though the left and right positions are close to the center and slightly (about one person’s worth) to the right, Rob is standing right in front of you, making it a truly special seat! The camerawork is also perfect for experiencing this extraordinary position. While a zoom is used for Richie Faulkner’s solo on the opposite side of the stage, the rest of the experience is almost entirely unaided. Furthermore, a gigantic screen at the back of the stage projects gigantic professional shots of the band members, towering over each other in super-close-up shots. While there are still no rumors of the “SHIELD OF PAIN Tour” coming to Japan, even if it does happen, you can’t expect a more special seating experience than this. From these incredible seats, you can enjoy a special set celebrating the 35th anniversary of “PAINKILLER.” Our shop also includes the tour’s masterpiece, the “HELLFEST 2025 PRO-SHOT,” which has become a new standard, but this work adds even more masterpieces. Finally, let’s organize the albums by comparing them. Painkiller (5 songs): All Guns Blazing / Hell Patrol / A Touch of Evil / Night Crawler / Painkiller Others (9 songs): Invincible Shield: Gates of Hell / Giants in the Sky Others: You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’ / Freewheel Burning (★) / Breaking the Law / Solar Angels (★) / Electric Eye (★) / Hell Bent For Leather / Living After Midnight *Note: “★” indicates songs that were not included in the popular new standard “HELLFEST 2025 PRO-SHOT.” DISC 2: Alice Cooper Dazzles with Extremely Rare Songs Instead, DISC 2 features the king, Alice Cooper. The full show starting at 21:35 on the day is completely recorded. This work is not just a video set of both heroes, but also filmed by the same person. In other words, you can fully experience this from almost the center of the front row (a position that would likely be stepped on by Alice’s left foot). And the highlight here is the incredible set list, with extremely rare songs popping up one after another! JUDAS PRIEST mostly followed the set before the coupling, but Alice has completely changed it. What’s more, the rarity is incredible. The opening song, “Who Do You Think We Are,” which is the first in 21 years, is a big surprise, but even that is just the beginning. They pop up with “Caught In A Dream,” which is the first in 24 years, and “Spark In The Dark,” which is the first in 35 years. Even the familiar Guillotine, this time, they’ve thrown in “Second Coming,” which is the first in 54 years (!!), and the first public release of “Going Home.” And even more, the first public release is “Dangerous Tonight”! He even made his stage debut with a treasured track from “HEY STOOPID” by the genius melody maker Desmond Child. To be honest, when a rare song that I had never heard live started, I didn’t immediately recognize it, and panicked, thinking, “I’ve heard it before, but I can’t remember…” What’s more, it was surprising that even though it was so rare, it didn’t dampen the excitement of the live show. Just how many great songs does he have in stock… It really brings home the incredible career of this king. Finally, let’s summarize the contents of this incredibly powerful set. 70s (10 songs) ・Eighteen: I’m Eighteen / Caught In A Dream (★) / Ballad Of Dwight Fry / Second Coming (★) ・Other: No More Mr. Nice Guy / Muscle Of Love / Cold Ethyl / Only Women Bleed / Going Home (★★) / School’s Out 80s and later (9 songs) ・Trash: Spark In The Dark (★) / House Of Fire / Poison ・Hey Stoopid: Feed My Frankenstein / Hey Stoopid / Dangerous Tonight (★★) ・Other: Who Do You Think We Are (with Hello, Hooray) (★) / Dirty Diamonds / Brutal Planet *Note: “★” indicates a revival song that hasn’t been performed in over 20 years.
