Description
An ultra-luxury pro shot that is said to be the “ultimate QUEEN tribute” and “the biggest QUEEN marathon in history” will be released. Although it is simply called a “tribute concert”, there are many different personalities. There are festivals that bring together celebrities, follower bands recreating famous records, Kopiban shows like look-alike contests, and so on. This work is different from any of them. The key point is the song. It is a live performance in which professional musicians with a proven track record enthusiastically perform in praise of QUEEN’s masterpieces. First of all, the band playing is real. I’m confused by the unfamiliar artist name “THE JSS”, but the main character of this work is Jeff Scott Sort. He is a passionate vocalist known for his work with Yngwie Malmsteen, JOURNEY, TALISMAN, etc. He not only participated in “DRAGON ATTACK” and “THE CROWN JEWELS,” but also frequently collaborated with Brian May and Roger Taylor. He is also a singer who embodies his love for Queen on a daily basis, participating in tours with Spike Edney’s SAS and the official tribute band QUEEN EXTRAVAGANZA. And the scene is also amazing. At the QUEEN fan club convention held at Pretatin on May 18, 2003, it was a stage in front of real QUEEN fans to the bone. A half-hearted impersonation is likely to be met with ridicule, but what silences the real fans and makes them passionate is a passion that is the opposite of showing off the material. What is most amazing is the volume of songs being played. They performed a repertoire of 29 songs one after another in quick succession, but as if they still hadn’t performed enough, the 16 songs were condensed into two medleys. A total of 45 QUEEN numbers will be played for about 2 hours and 15 minutes. Let’s organize the set and experience the awesomeness of the “QUEEN Marathon”. ●QUEEN (1 song): Keep Yourself Alive ●QUEEN II (1 song): Procession・Medley: Ogre Battle/Nevermore ●SHEER HEART ATTACK (2 songs): Stone Cold Crazy/Killer Queen・Medley: Tenement Funster/Flick Of The Wrist/Dear Friends/Lily Of The Valley ●A NIGHT AT THE OPERA (3 songs): ’39/You’re My Best Friend/Bohemian Rhapsody Medley: Death On Two Legs/I’m In Love With My Car/Love Of My Life ●A DAY AT THE RACES (2 songs): Tie Your Mother Down/Somebody To Love Medley: You Take My Breath Away/Good Old Fashioned Loverboy/The Millionaire Waltz ●NEWS OF THE WORLD (4 songs): Spread Your Wings/It’s Late/We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions ●JAZZ (3 songs): Let Me Entertain You/Fat Bottomed Girls/Don’t Stop Me Now・Medley: Jealousy ●THE GAME (4 songs): Another One Bites The Dust/Dragon Attack/Save Me/Play The Game ●HOT SPACE (1 song): Under Pressure ●THE WORKS (3 songs): I Want To Break Free/Hammer To Fall/Radio Ga Ga ●A KIND OF MAGIC・Medley: Princes Of The Universe/Who Wants To Live Forever ●THE MIRACLE (1 song): I Want It All ● INNUENDO (2 songs): These Are The Days Of Our Lives/The Show Must Go On ・Medley: Innuendo… …and it looks like this. Even though I organized it, it was huge. It feels strange that “Now I’m Here”, “Liar” and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” are missing while playing so far, but it’s amazing anyway. In addition to the standard famous songs, there are so many rare songs that the original QUEEN+ has never played. Just to be sure, Jeff is not a copy band musician who makes his living with QUEEN covers, but a real singer who usually competes with original songs. The fact that he shows off such feats that a person without love for QUEEN would never be able to do is very powerful. Moreover, the performance is also hot. The members are impregnable as they usually participate in Jeff’s solo works, especially guitarist Howie Simon, who was talked about at ALCATRAZZ as “the best technique of all time!” They naturally sing and perform with passion. There is no copying of QUEEN’s costumes, actions, or performances, and there is nothing that makes you wonder, “How similar are they?” “That’s different.” On the other hand, it was a rock-like stage where they thoroughly emphasized the “goodness of the songs” without making strange arrangements that would push their usual individuality. True QUEEN fans were also delighted with such a show. The circle of sympathy and enthusiasm spreads as they continue to sing enthusiastically, without showing any strange sex appeal, just as if to say, “That’s a good song!” The order was completely reversed due to its greatness, but the quality of this work that recorded such a show is also excellent. Although it seems that it is often not counted as Jeff’s official work, it is distributed as a half-official work. Although the editing has a slightly handmade feel, it is a neat multi-camera professional shot, and the sound is a stereo sound board that sounds like an official work. In fact, it feels like it was handmade to create a warm, homely feeling. Jeff Scott Sort is one of the best in the hard rock world when it comes to singing skill and passion. This is a video work where you can fully experience the tribute concert in which he reveals his feelings for QUEEN. It’s different from the Kopiban group, where you can get cold if you make a mistake, and it’s completely different from having celebrities who are just friends of the members cover the show.
