Description
The day of this live performance, March 11th, was two years after the unforgettable Great East Japan Earthquake. Therefore, JOURNEY set this Nippon Budokan performance as a charity event. With the theme of “What entertainment can do,” in addition to satellite broadcasting, the live performance was also screened live at 18 theaters nationwide, and all proceeds were donated to the reconstruction support project. This work is a full multi-camera pro shot of the live broadcast version. As the words “What entertainment can do” say, this work is packed with as much entertainment as possible. This is also a digital broadcast from four years ago, so the quality is intense. The glittering image quality and sound, as well as the on-site camera work, the mood-filled video processing, the ironclad mix, and other things, all of the highest quality possible for live broadcasting, make this a video work that can only be called “official class” without question. The quality depicts the golden greatest hits. It was a show that shone even with just the sound, but the persuasiveness of the video is even more exceptional. The performance dedicated to the national anthem-level catastrophe is more sincere and concentrated than ever, but in this work, even their expressions are reflected. Of course, there is no sense of tragedy. They play a beautiful melody that stirs the heart sensitively and smile as if to encourage. What entertainment can do is to enjoy and entertain… That’s what they seem to want to say. It’s an excellent rock video work, but even more so, it’s a live in Japan that touches the heart. This is the scene that spread beyond the super-excellent live album, the appearance of JOURNEY that was playing. In a different sense to this year’s masterpiece reproduction, it is a special show for Japanese people. A masterpiece of ironclad multi-camera pro shots that captures the whole story.
