In the spring of 2016, while the joint tour with Santana was attracting a lot of attention, the Philadelphia and Allentown performances on April 16th were recorded as a complete digital audience recording. First of all, this tour started in 2016, when Santana released “?”, the follow-up to the early 70’s masterpiece “III”, and then-members Neal Schon, Greg Rory, and Michael Shreve also participated in the album. What’s more, some of the original reunion bands will be performing on Santana’s stage on this tour, which will attract attention from old fans. As with the 2013 performance in Japan, this Journey live was a set centered on hit songs from the opening, but what was particularly noteworthy was the participation of Steve Smith, who had returned to the band the previous year.
