This is a rare live recording of John Hassell. Although it was an audience recording, it was quiet because everyone was listening intently, and I thought it was a sound board until I heard the applause between songs. John Hassell’s Collector’s sound source is very rare, but I think there are many people who wonder who he is before Collector’s. Simply put, he is a trumpet player and composer.
