Description

Johnny Thunders, who is still talked about as a legendary junkie rocker, performed in Düsseldorf, Germany on May 20th from his 1988 European tour, recorded on soundboard by local FM on-air master. First, in January of the same year, he performed in Japan for the third time, which turned out to be his last visit to Japan. During this period, he was backed by the Odd Balls and Patty Paladin also participated in backing vocals. And even though his performances were very up and down, this tour was extremely good, starting with the familiar opening song “Pipeline”, and in the acoustic set in the middle, he performed Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” and the classic “You Can’t Put Your Arms Around A Memory”. And the way he rushed from “Spoonful Jam” to the end of the show reminded us of his last live performance in Japan. This is a must-have item for fans, both as a memorial and as a way to reaffirm his real image as a lifelong rock and roller. 01. Pipeline / 02. Blame It On Mom / 03. I Can Tell / 04.
