This is a 5-track recording of a live performance by jazz giant Johnny Griffin and former Blue Note pianist Horace Parlan Trio at a theater in Vejle, Denmark in September 2000, recorded with the finest stereo soundboard recordings. The two released a duo album titled “Close Your Eyes” in the same year, but this performance is a fascinating and well-written performance by a quartet.
