Description
This is a compilation of audio and video of the precious live performances from his early solo days after leaving Europe. First, the sound source is a live performance from the Euro tour after the release of “TOTAL CONTROL” in 1988, held at Hammersmith Odeon in London, England on March 19th, recorded from the original audience master owned by Crazy S, known for its famous taper. This time, too, the quality is the highest at the time, and since it was the opening act for Ace Fury’s FREHLEY’S COMET, the set was short at 40 minutes, but the sound was very direct. Although there was also an official live EP “LIVE IN STOCKHOLM” from this tour, it only contained four songs, whereas this one is of perfect quality, including not only the numbers from “TOTAL CONTROL” but also “Heart Of Stone” and “Scream Of Anger” from Europe. In addition, the included DVD contains 50 minutes of high-quality audience shots taken by the band’s staff for recording the live performance in Sweden on February 13th from the same tour. The footage was taken from the camera pit directly under the stage, with plenty of professional-quality zooms of the band’s hands and expressions, and the camera went into the dressing room after the main set, and accompanied the band members up on stage during the encore. Moreover, since this is a full live performance, in addition to guitar and bass solos, the band also performed “We’ll Do What It Takes Together” from “TOTAL CONTROL,” “Good Man Shining” from their next album “FACE THE TRUTH,” and “Women, Whiskey & Song” from Talisman. This is a collector’s edition that is a must-listen and must-see for Nordic metal fans. CD: 1. Eternal Flame 2. Love Is Meant To Last Forever 3. Someone Else Here 4. Back On The Streets 5.
