Description

This is a live recording of a collaborative quartet led by John McLaughlin. Among the jazz-rock oriented members (or rather, it’s almost the Mahavishnu Orchestra), the one that stands out is bassist Jack Bruce. Yes, you know Cream. However, he also participates in Tony Williams’ Lifetime with McLaughlin, and has many sessions with jazz musicians such as Larry Coryell. And its unique bass sound has an outstanding presence. This sound source was recorded by an audience, but to my delight, the bass line was recorded beautifully. This is an enjoyable sound source from the perspective of what would happen if Jack Bruce joined the Mahavishnu Orchestra.
