Description

The 1994 European tour of “Free Spirits”, formed with the addition of Dennis Chambers and Joey DeFrancesco, featured three consecutive days at Paris’ long-established jazz club “New Morning” on November 18th, 19th, and 20th. This six-disc set, recorded with astonishing sound quality from a DAT digital master, will be a must-have for fans. The tape that recorded the released “New Morning 1992” also recorded this sound source, and there is no problem with the sound quality. McLaughlin’s improvisations were played in a different dimension on all three days, which will be a big attraction for fans. The set list also included cover songs such as “My Favorite Things” and “Sing Me Softly Of The Blues”, and the final day on the 20th, the classic “After The Rain” was also performed. Enjoy McLaughlin’s guitar to your heart’s content with perfect sound quality for three days!
