Joe Satriani, who is also known for his work with G3 in recent years, recorded his San Diego performance on June 11, 1988, from the US tour of his platinum album “Surfing With The Alien” with official quality stereo soundboard. Although it is not a complete recording because it is a broadcast sound source from the FM on-air master, it is a precious live performance from a time when he had just finished his Japan tour with Mick Jagger three months earlier, and was gaining attention in Japan as a super guitarist.
