Description
In 1970, Jimi Hendrix formed a trio called Band of Gypsys with Billy Cox and Buddy Miles. This is a master quality, soundboard recording of a private tape recorded at Jimi Hendrix’s New York apartment on January 21st, just before the band’s formation. It’s almost like a home recording of him singing and playing the guitar, and although it’s unfinished, it’s a valuable recording, and a must-see item for fans of Jimi Hendrix’s late years. Recorded at Jimi’s Apartment at 59 West 12th St., Greenwich Villiage, NYC, USA January 21st 1970 : soundboard recording 01. Country Blues (improv) / 02. Country Blues (part 2) / 03. Room Full Of Mirrors-Highway Of Desire / 04. Astroman-Valleys Of Neptune / 05. Power Of Soul/Money (That’s What I Want)-Tajimi Boogie
