Jill Scott has been hugely popular in the US with her successive albums, going beyond the neo-soul genre. This live performance was recorded with a high-quality audience at the time of the release of her second album, Beautifully Human: Words and Sounds Vol. 2, which marked her final breakthrough. Jill, who has performed with The Roots and Robert Glasper, released her own album, which was a huge hit.
