JETHRO TULL’s first performance in Japan in 1972 and July 15th performance at the Shinjuku Kosei Pension Hall are recorded with amazing high-quality audience recordings. Several types of sources existed for this performance in the past, but this time we obtained a completely new cassette tape that recorded almost all parts of “Thick As A Brick” and about half of the other parts, and we added the missing parts. Supplemented with previously released records, this day’s performance is almost completely recorded. The highlight of this performance was, of course, “Thick As A Brick,” which was performed for a long time. The same song, which is recorded across Discs 1 & 2, has a performance that stands out from other performances, and can be said to be the best performance of this period. The sound quality of the new tape is quite high quality for a recording of this period, and it has been edited without any discomfort from the previously released version, which originally had good sound, so you can enjoy the whole picture of this performance.
