Description

From the US tour accompanying the release of his masterpiece “Aqualung” in 1971, the June 19th concert at the Convention Center in Anaheim, California is almost completely recorded from a good audience master at the time. First of all, it was the beginning of the peak period with new member Barrymore Barlow on drums, and starting with Anderson’s dancing flute, the superb ensemble in which the band came together as one was amazing, especially Maiden in the middle part. “Cross-Eyed Mary” has an outstanding cover groove, “Aqualung” is a truly original song that starts with a suspicious intro, and an improvisation full of Jethro Tull’s unique British flavor that begins with a classical piano in the encore. All of them, including the raging “Wind Up”, are worth listening to. DISC 1 : 1. Introduction/2. My God/3. With You There To Help Me/4. By Kind Permission Of…/5. Sossity, You’re A Woman / Reasons For Waiting/ Sossity, You’re a Woman (reprise)/6. To Cry You A Song/7. Aqualung DISC 2 : 1. Introduction/2. Cross-Eyed Mary/3. Midnight Rambler Jam/4.
