Description
The “champion’s recording” that won the most competitive area is now available on 2CD. The “most competitive area” is “January 30, 2017: Tokyo International Forum performance”. This is the first day of two consecutive days of performances at this venue. It is also the release rush of the latest Japan tour, so be sure to check the schedule.・January 25: Pacifico Yokohama “YOKOHAMA 2017″・January 26: Sendai Sun Plaza “SENDAI 2017″・January 28: Iwate Prefectural Civic Hall・January 30: Tokyo International Forum [This work]・January 31: Tokyo International Forum “LIVE IN TOKYO 2017″・February 2: Grand Cube Osaka “OSAKA 2017″・February 3: Fukuoka Sunpalace・February 4: Hiroshima Ueno Gakuen Hall・February 6: Nagoya City Public Hall “NAGOYA 2017 THE VIDEO” *・February 7: Amashin Archaic Hall *Note: Only representative works are included in each performance. That’s a total of 10 performances. We haven’t yet reached the final performance record, but we’ve got quite a lot of them. Our shop offers many masters from various recordists, but for some reason, this “January 30th” has the most records and is of high quality. Perhaps it was a gathering of skilled recordists in the Kanto region on this day, but after careful selection, we have already introduced three: “LIVE IN TOKYO 2017 (part of)”, “TOKYO 2017 DAY 1”, and the video “TOKYO 2017 FIRST NIGHT: THE VIDEO”. This work is an audience album that won such a fierce battlefield and was brilliantly crowned “No. 1”. In fact, the sound is extremely wonderful. In short, it is a type of direct sound that is “like a sound board”, but the “sound” is so beautiful that I hesitate to even say so. When talking about the appeal of audience recording, the first thing that comes to mind is “realism”, but it also has a great meaning in a purely musical sense. Of course, this is only a limited number of recordings, but the subtle acoustics of the venue on the line recording-class musical tones create a three-dimensional effect, doubling the beauty of the sound. In particular, Jeff Beck’s fans have a more discerning ear than many bands and musicians, and the average sound quality and aesthetic sense of recording are both high. This work is a perfect example of that sound. The latest show depicted with such a sound is even more beautiful and fresh than the sound. In recent years, Jeff has been visiting Japan almost every year, but this time it’s a new initiative with the female duo “BONES”. The collaboration with the cute female voice is just fresh. He appears with a loudspeaker at the beginning of “The Revolution Will Be Televised”, but after that he sings the repertoire of the new work “LOUD HAILER”, including “Live In The Dark”, “The Ballad Of The Jersey Wives”, “O.I.L.”, “Thugs Club”, “Scared For The Children”, and “Right Now”. That ticklish, coquettish voice and Jeff’s mischievous guitar play together… The interaction on stage is even more vivid than on the album. Of course, the familiar Jimmy Hall vocal numbers and the famous instrumentals of the past can’t be bad. After the Japan tour, the internet was filled with comments saying, “They’ve evolved again!”, and there are plenty of great performances that prove that. Jeff’s recordings are always great, but this Japan tour is truly a “sound source abnormality”. Among them, this is a great recording of a great recording that reigned as the “champion” on the most fiercely fought “January 30th”.
