A live album that completes the “ultimate collection of masters” has been decided as a gift release. This work contains “January 25, 2017: Pacifico Yokohama”. This is the third master, following the fastest report board “LIVE IN YOKOHAMA 2017” introduced the other day and the decision board “YOKOHAMA 2017” released this week. A total of 10 performances were performed across the archipelago, of which the Kanto performances were “1 Yokohama + 2 Tokyo”. This week, the 4-disc “LIVE IN TOKYO 2017” will be released, which is a fixed-point observation of the two Tokyo performances at the same venue, same recording artist, same equipment, and same seats, but this work is the Yokohama edition by that recording artist. In other words, you can get a panoramic view of the three Kanto performances with the same recording artist and equipment (although the venue and seats are different). Of course, it is meaningless just to be the same recorder. The essential quality is also wonderful. Although the vivid applause is evidence of the customer record, the musical sound is wonderful as if it were a sound board. If the core is also very thick, the details are fine and the sound is beautiful. I thought about giving it a nitpick, but this is perfectly beautiful. In fact, it is a beautiful recording that is more than enough, just without the “surprise!” like “YOKOHAMA 2017”. I would like you to listen to this work together with the 4-disc set “LIVE IN TOKYO 2017”. As mentioned above, it is a form that has returned from “Yokohama → Tohoku → Tokyo”, but the changes in between are vividly understood. The set was completely solidified at the two Tokyo performances, but the first day in Yokohama is slightly different. The positions of “Thugs Club” and “The Ballad Of The Jersey Wives” are swapped, and there is no medley of “Blue Wind” and “Goodbye Pork Pie Hat / Brush With The Blues” that could be heard in Tokyo. Of course, it’s not just that there are few songs, but the “Rollin’ and Tumblin'” that is played instead is delicious. It’s only one song, but it’s big. (I can’t say for sure because I haven’t reached the final performance yet) This song was only performed at the Yokohama and Morioka performances on this tour. By combining this work with the 4-disc “LIVE IN TOKYO 2017”, you can “listen to all the songs from the Japanese performances”. It’s an excellent live album, and even more fun when compared. It is a masterpiece of the “recording artist collection” that complements the rare fixed-point observation album “LIVE IN TOKYO 2017”. This is possible because Jeff has a fun expression that changes depending on the day. And it is because there are recordings with a high level of consciousness that cannot be found in other bands/artists. This album uncovers the truth of the “2017 JEFF BECK GROUP” from every angle.
