In August 1995, without even releasing an album, they suddenly embarked on a double-header US tour with Santana. The performance at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles on September 19th from that tour is almost completely recorded from the high-quality audience master that was unearthed for the first time in recent years. First of all, in terms of performance, the sound of the four-person formation, which added Pino Palantino’s bass to the “Guitar Shop” trio, is basically an extension of the “Guitar Shop” tour, but the core of the band is still Bozzio’s transcendent drumming, which is tighter and heavier than the previous one, and Beck’s playing is also breathtaking in both melody and phrase. And the opening magnificent unreleased song “Hurricane” that became a hot topic is well recorded, and after that, the performance is already at full throttle, with improvisation that ignores the progression of the song in “Freeway Jam”, blues phrases with new expressive means in “Goodbye Pork Pie Hat”, and the transcendent battle with Bozzio in “Blue Wind” are goosebumps.
