The live performance in Hamburg on September 17th, from the 1976 Euro tour with his own band, was digitally remastered from the broadcast master source soundboard sound source and recorded in official quality. This is a solo performance after making a name for himself with Zappa’s band and the Mahavishnu Orchestra, and he is playing at the peak of his power. Also backing him up is the name of the famous guitarist Daryl Sturmer, who later went on to become a close friend of Phil Collins through Genesis. A rare live performance that progressive rock/jazz rock fans should check out.
