Description

Jason Bonham, who is handing down LED ZEPPELIN’s masterpieces to the present day, welcomes guitarist Page, who gained worldwide attention in the documentary film “Mr. Jimmy.” A video work that allows you to experience the latest tour that is currently ongoing has been decided to be released. This work was filmed at the “Washington performance on September 11, 2019.” This is the best audience shot. Jason has a strong impression of the ZEP reprint project, but he is also a popular member of various bands/projects. Last year’s tour with FOREIGNER became a hot topic, and this year, as a member of SAMMY HAGAR & THE CIRCLE, they released their new album “SPACE BETWEEN” and also participated in the tour. In between, he also holds shows as JASON BONHAM’S LED ZEPPELIN EVENING (JBLZE). In order to get a feel for how busy he is, let’s take a look at the show’s position from a panoramic view of his activities. ・January 18th + February 21st: THE CIRCLE (2 performances) ・April 19th – June 8th: THE CIRCLE (27 performances) ・June 21st + 23rd: Guest appearance at UMPHREY’S McGEE★June 29th -August 11: Frampton Undercard #1 (25 performances) August 23rd + 24th: THE CIRCLE (2 performances) ★August 29th – September 26th: Frampton Undercard #2 (16 performances)← ★Coco★・September 27th-29th: THE CIRCLE (3 performances) ★September 29th-October 12th: Frampton opening act #3 (8 performances) ★November 16th-30th: Solo North American tour Tour (11 performances) *Note: Shows marked with “★” are performed as JBLZE. This is Jason in 2019. All shows are in North America, but you can clearly see that THE CIRCLE and JBLZE are replaced on a daily basis. Among them, JBLZE’s main activity was the opening act for Peter Frampton’s “THE FAREWELL TOUR”. The Washington performance of this work was the 9th performance of such “Undercard #2”. This work, which records such a show, is a truly spectacular audience shot. The most overwhelming thing is the proximity. Not only can you see the drum kit directly in front of you, but you can also see it taken from the front row. Of course, since you’re in the front row, there are no obstructions, and your entire field of vision is the stage. What’s more, it’s right and left in the middle, so you can see everything just by turning your head a little. To be honest, I don’t use zoom much (Jason’s MC scene is a close-up of his facial expressions), but that’s because it’s not necessary in the first place. Everything is close at hand, and you can see as much as you want without having to do that. Another point to consider is the height of the viewpoint. When it comes to the front row, it’s natural to look up from an angle, but this one’s view is strangely high. Although it is slightly below the line of sight of the members, it doesn’t make your neck strain just looking at it, but you can clearly see down to each member’s feet. It’s right in the eye of the camera pit, and it looks like a pro shot angle. Furthermore, the sound of this work is exquisite. As you know well, the front row does not necessarily have good sound, but this work is an exception. The extra-thick core is thrust right in front of you, giving you plenty of close contact, but there is almost no ringing around. In scenes where a huge sound suddenly explodes, it seems like a limiter is applied, but that’s about the only drawback. What’s more, because you’re in the front row, the excitement of the audience is at the back, giving you a three-dimensional feel. No matter how exciting it gets, the cheers don’t come between the extremely thick performance sound. It is exactly the missionary of ZEP that is drawn with such quality. Since it is Peter Frampton’s opening act, it only lasts for less than an hour, but it is packed with historical masterpieces. Finally, let’s put together the set. ●LED ZEPPELIN II (3 songs)・What Is and What Should Never Be, Ramble On, Whole Lotta Love ●LED ZEPPELIN IV (3 songs)・Black Dog, Rock and Roll, Stairway to Heaven ●Other (3 songs)・Good Times, Bad Times (I), Immigrant Song (III), Over the Hills and Far Away (HOUSES OF THE HOLY), and so on. Bonzo’s son plays the rush of delicious songs up to “Sacred House”, played by a guitarist who dedicates his life to Page’s search (James Dylan’s singing voice is reminiscent of Plant, but the appearance and action are far apart). Although it can be said to be a “copy band show”, the show that seriously pursues ZEP’s famous songs is full of excitement that goes beyond reason. A show of evangelists who pass on the legend to the present day. This is a video work that allows you to watch it from the enviable front row. A piece where you can enjoy that masterpiece group in wonderful 2019 quality. Live at the Anthem, Washington, DC, USA 11th September 2019 AMAZING SHOT!!! (52:29) 1. Intro 2. Immigrant Song 3.
