This is the third performance in Japan and the final Japan tour, and the performance at Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo was recorded in high quality stereo soundboard recording from a cassette master that was air-checked from FM broadcast in good condition! The live performance at Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo on the second day of the third and final Japan tour, which took place for five days from June 11, 1982, was recorded in high quality stereo soundboard recording! The sound source of this day was broadcast on FM, and has been distributed in the past as analog bootlegs, which have no high frequencies, little stereo separation, and a large pitch shift, but this work has been digitally transferred from a cassette master that was air-checked from FM broadcast in good condition, and the sound quality is clearly clear compared to the previously released boards, with a wide range in both high and low frequencies, and the stereo separation is also recorded with unquestionable clear sound quality. In addition, the pitch shift caused by the master has been carefully corrected. The tour was held to promote their last studio album, “THE GIFT,” which reached number one in the UK, and the set list featured songs from “THE GIFT,” including the lead single “Town Called Malice,” which was released prior to the album. It’s a shame that the radio DJ’s talk overlaps with the first song, Curtis Mayfield’s cover Move On Up, but there is no overlapping talk otherwise. You can enjoy the rare sound source from this turbulent period, when the band suddenly announced their dissolution in October, about four months later, with a good soundboard recording!
