Description
The Victory Tour is the only tour of the Jacksons that includes not only Michael Jackson but also Jermaine Jackson. This compilation carefully collects as many live videos from that tour as possible in chronological order and upgrades them all to 1080P. The videos are a mix of good and bad, and most of the original masters themselves have deteriorated, so the quality is only so-so, but it is still a valuable and valuable collection of videos that you should definitely get your hands on. This time, we have collected more maniacal videos, such as videos from when they were broadcast on the news and videos from archives only held by the land where the live performance was held. There are quite a few videos with no sound and only video, or with sound but blackouts and replaced with photos. However, I think you will be impressed by how well they have collected so far. First of all, here is a video of the first day of the Victory Tour, made from multiple tapes, of 1 hour, 23 minutes and 34 seconds. The first song is “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin'”, but there is no sound at first. Don’t be disappointed here. It will start in a little over a minute. There is also a happening that is only on the first day. It is customary for Jermaine Jackson to play the hit song “Let’s Get Serious” on this tour, but for some reason the performance stops at the beginning, and the brothers start fighting over whether to play an old song or a different song. Jermaine looks anxious, asking if he can’t do it. This is a planned harmony, and it may be a production to make the fans anxious about whether the Jacksons are okay, but at the end, Michael decides to play Jermaine’s song as usual, and they play “Let’s Get Serious”. They also play “Tell Me I’m Not Dreamin'”, but Jermaine says he’s going to play one more song, and Michael asks what, so Michael is on stage (usually Michael rushes onto the stage halfway through). And Michael’s part starts with Jermaine urging him. However, the image at this time is not stable, and there is almost no sound from then on. The stadium is shown from a helicopter, but the stage is too far away to see what is going on, and the boring time continues. There is only a little sound in “I’ll Be There”. The revival starts with “Lovely One”, and “Working Day And Night” and the subsequent magic of “Beat It” and “Billie Jean” are recorded in the video. I think the tension of the first day is fully conveyed. Michigan on August 17th, 18th, and 19th are fragmentary clips of 1 minute 17 seconds, 2 minutes 15 seconds, and 10 seconds, respectively, with the audio supplemented by the live performance on August 26th. Buffalo on August 25th and 26th are 13 minutes 23 seconds and 7 minutes 25 seconds, respectively, and although there are some good shots (some are only the reporter’s voice and the performance can hardly be heard), they are played in the background of the news footage, and the footage is replaced with photos for interviews with the audience and others. Philadelphia on September 1st and 2nd is a fragmentary clip of 1 minute 57 seconds and 4 minutes 42 seconds, respectively, but it is a good shot. September 7th in Denver, Colorado, 6 minutes 56 seconds, the opening “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin'” is only a momentary video, and I’m surprised I knew it was this song. The last video is also a momentary one, but there are many unclear parts. It’s more difficult than the super intro. If anyone can figure it out, I think they’re geniuses. September 16th in Montreal, 3 minutes 37 seconds, September 21st (4 minutes 33 seconds), September 22nd (11 minutes 4 seconds) in Washington, “Dynamite” is a relatively long video, but the rest are fragments and there is no sound, so there are many quizzes about what song it is performing. In October, Illinois on the 12th (2 minutes 8 seconds) and the 13th (10 minutes 13 seconds) are videos that capture “Heartbreak Hotel” quite well. The 19th in Cleveland (5 seconds), the 26th (1 minute 3 seconds), and the 27th in Atlanta are videos that are full of “Heartbreak Hotel”. November 2nd Miami (13 minutes 19 seconds) “Thins I Do For You” only has sound in the first half, but the performance after that is well captured. The 3rd (45 seconds) is a series of quizzes asking what song they are performing. Houston 9th (7 minutes 26 seconds) and 10th (5 minutes 58 seconds) are again “Human Nature” and “Heartbreak Hotel”, but they are good images. Vancouver 16th (12 seconds) is a super fragment, and 17th (1 minute 6 seconds) is also a fragment. 30th LA (6 minutes 2 seconds) is also silent, but it is hard to edit. December 7th LA (33 seconds) is another quiz about what performance, and the 8th (4 minutes 36 seconds) is good quality and good image. And the final performance on the 9th is 21 minutes 20 seconds, and I am very happy that “Shake Your Body” is almost completely recorded. Farewell tour (a tour for a while) Michael will be the MC, and Emmanuel Boy will also appear. The brothers have sad expressions that this may be the end, but they are playing hard not to show it.
