Jacksons/Holland 1979

This is a remastered reissue of a title that was previously released on the European half-official label Midnight Beat. This gives you almost the entirety of the Jacksons’ 1979 live performance. It’s not the best soundboard, but the sound quality is good air check and very enjoyable. The album ends with the title track from the 1974 album Dancing Machine, which was the last top 20 hit for the Jackson 5 from the same album, I Am Love, the single from the Jacksons’ first album Keep On Dancing, the rare Destiny, which is the title track of the album but never performed live, the 9-minute version of Gamble Huff’s masterpiece Show You The Way To Go, and the dance floor popular song All Night Dancing. These live versions of songs can only be heard at Jacksons’ live performances, so they are valuable. And above all, Michael’s singing is young and flexible. There are also many arrangements that are different from later Michael Jackson live performances. This is a masterpiece that you should listen to next after the Jacksons’ official live album.
