Description
The live performance at Osaka Festival Hall on November 13th, from the Japan tour when “Hold On” was released in 1980, was recorded almost completely from the audience master with miraculous quality at the time, and made into 2CDs. First of all, the sound quality, which seems to have been recorded with the best recording equipment at the time, is amazing, and you can hear it as if it were a soundboard at first listen. And of course from the album, from the early representative numbers “Doctor My Eyes” and “For Everyman” to numbers like “Disco Apocalypse”, which symbolizes the era, to the representative numbers such as “Lonely Runner” and “Pretender”, many fans would say that this period was the best set list. And the backing performance by the best members such as David Lindley, Bill Payne, and Russ Kunkel was also wonderful, and the set changed slightly from the Nagoya and Tokyo performances after this, so this limited memorial item is a must-have for fans of the past, including that.
